General Overview & Accepted Files

Cyan Digital Printing accepts the following Mac or PC Files

• Illustrator EPS with no link files, all fonts converted to outlines and all transparencies flattened;
• Illustrator Transparencies - Illustrator transparencies can create unintended screening and other problems that cannot be determined during our proofing process. Printing errors that occur due to the use of un-flattened transparencies will not be refunded.
• Photoshop PSD: We accept .psd files from all versions (Windows and Mac). Note: best results are obtained by saving files as PDF files..
• CorelDraw with all fonts converted to curves.
• PDF Files
• High resolution TIFF
• High resolution JPEG

General Technical Information on Colour and File Preparation

• Color printing files must be sent in CMYK Not RGB or PANTONE colors.
• RGB OR PANTONE colours will be converted to CMYK resulting in extreme colour changes.
• Re-prints or refunds will not be permitted for colour shifts caused by use of the wrong colour profile.
• PROOFS: You will be given the option to view or waive a proof on all orders. Please review your options for each order as you place them or ask us for more details.
• BLEEDS: Please bleed graphics 1/8” past the trim on all edges of the card. Your graphic size will be 1/4" larger than the final trim size.
